Romans 14:14-23

I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. Yet if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. Do not destroy with your food the one for whom Christ died. Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil; for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. Also, reading books is not spending time with Jesus! Not at all. Seems elementarty, you don’t read about someone to spend time with them, you talk and listen to them. Boom! Going to church ain’t spending time with Jesus unless Jesus is there! I want living relationship!

bum. it sucks. so much stuff is involved in life, not good. how can you just simplify and live life how you want to? how can you live free and wild? how can you take control over your destiny? 

I’m trying to go after God with everything, but I don’t know how, it’s the worst. I guess relationships are hard, but sometimes you want to hear a voice  loud and clear, to tell you your not crazy, not wrong,  not lost. I’m a little jealous of old testament guys, they lived in a different time for sure, in good and bad ways. I know we got jesus and the holy spirit now, but I guess sometimes I wish I was one of those people who could just connect to God. How do you do that?
